I've been looking for one of these for awhile now and the last time I saw one at a store I was in the vicinity but by the time I got there all of them were gone...it's just so amazing how anything related to the Wii sells out so quickly! I've heard about entire pallets of the system selling out in less than 10 minutes which is astounding and a little scary too! :O It looks like Japan has had the Wii Fitness for awhile but now the U.S. finally has its version! While Playstation and XBox are great systems too (although I just heard that there's something referred to as "the rings of death" involving the XBox and when these appear your system has played its last game....well until you send it in for servicing or replacement....really discouraging and I don't think I'd want one of those!) Nintendo has really struck gold with the Wii!! The person who invented it must be having the time of his/her life right now with the sales it generates and the amazing speed that it produces them at!! If I wanted to buy a Playstation 3 or XBox 360 I'd have no problem finding a console but no such luck when it comes to the Wii....it's almost baffling that a manufacturer can't seem to keep up with the demand.
So now I shall embark on balance games, yoga, aerobics, and strength training...but most of all I'm looking forward to playing the games which were seen on HM@ episode 12/2/07 and the week there after! Maybe I should create a Gakisan Mii too just because it looked so much like her younger self in a strange way and well it was cute too! And while I think I feel centered and balanced I know that the system will tell me otherwise as it's just a matter of how unbalance I really am....hmm do I really want to know?! :P I heard that you can unlock additional games as you go along passing the fitness tests so I'm looking forward to every thing the Wii Fit has to offer.....Ah! I was finally in the right place at the right time to get one! ^-^
Cloud Strife and his hardy Daytona finally arrived!...and as any collector knows the second you remove any collectible from its original packaging its resale value takes a really big hit so of course I kept him and his bike in his box..............................NOT!!! :P
I immediately took him out of his box and set him up in front of my t.v.! I've wanted a similar Cloud figure for quite awhile now but getting the previous release became quite a costly proposition through online auctions so I jumped at the chance of owning this one as soon as I saw its pre-order announcement. It was a bit expensive at 9800 yen but the attention to detail is quite stunning. Cloud's hardy-Daytona is particularly impressive as in addition to the incredible detail, it has a kick stand, the steering is operable with numerous moving parts and the tires are made of actual rubber too! Cloud can be posed either separately with a stand in numerous ways as he has quite a few points of articulation and his sword can also be placed on his back but I preferred to have him posed on his bike which actually took me awhile to accomplish as I needed to turn his body a particular way so that he'd sit properly but after about 20 minutes he seems comfortable! ^-^ And how he wields such a large sword is way beyond comprehension!....but it looks really great! This series came out so long ago and it amazes me that they're still producing new merchandise for it! And now I think my FFVII collection is complete! Sorry Mr. box I don't think that I have room anywhere to keep you!....and it really wouldn't make any sense either to hang on to it as with all of the figures that I collect I have really no intention of selling them ever!
I never thought that I'd want to own a Nintendo Gamecube and actually want a Wii right now but how else am I supposed to become good friends with Kajiwara Yuuta after thinking I've mastered this game only to be beaten down by the little one?! No...wait...that's Momo. And after carefully
reviewing the many benefits :) there appears to be no negatives unless you consider not being able to sit down for a week a bad thing. It looks like a winning idea! :P Unfortunately it's not available on Playstation and this ancient artifact aka my computer can't seem to play the files that Zush sent smoothly thus making achieving Puyo Puyo fever very difficult. lol. Without the fever, victory... no I mean slowing down eventual defeat will be a daunting task against the one with almost freakish skills! So this game...I must have. At least that's what the little green one says.
