I originally posted this in April of 2008, but in recently speaking of early to mid 90's J-Pop and the sound that was current then during the post below on Manoeri's similiarly inspired song♪♪~ compositions I recently found myself taking Mochida Maki's albums & singles off the shelf for a bit of reminiscing~.
You may also notice that I've added a bit of dialog to the original post as well as 6 more mp3 tracks and a link.....I was having a bit of issues with uploading here to VOX at the time of the original post so I wasn't able to include as many songs as I would have liked to at the time....now finally remedied. =)
One of the first J-Pop artist' voices that I fell in love with belongs to Mochida Maki and after some pleading with a friend awhile back she gave me a promotional copy of her debut album titled "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu" which stands for the four seasons "Spring Summer Fall Winter" respectfully. This is also one if not the very first-first pressing versions of a Japanese album release that I ever acquired and for that simple reason it holds a special sentimental value for me.
There's just something so aesthetically *pure* and *beautiful* in Mochida Maki's voice....in fact I'll go as far as to say it's one of the most *pure* voices that I've encountered in J-Pop over the years~. From a gentle clarity, ranging from a whisper in some instances....the sweetness♥ of her vocals also display a unique strength in them......I'm thinking this will make much more sense if you could hear for yourself as she possesses a really wonderful voice~. ^ ^
"Kisetsu no closet"
"Afternoon Tea"
"Itsudatte Itsudatte"
"Suna ni kieteku natsu"
"Anata no yuuki ni naritai"
"Watashirashiku"
"Popular no ki no shita de"
"Shiroi hane"
Being that just about all of Mochida Maki's releases are out of print and can't be ordered any longer I thought it was okay to share these. =)
The first pressing of "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu" (top right) is housed in a slip case and also includes a beautifully shot 30 page photo booklet which tells the tale of "Pandora." Mochida Maki released 2 albums, the first in March of '95 and her second in October of '95 as well as at least 9 singles a total which I'm not totally sure of as I've only been able to find 6 of them and there could possibly be a few more although judging by the release dates between them just a few more is imaginable in the time span of her J-Pop activity that if any at all. To my knowledge Mochida Maki's final single was released on December 17th of 1997 making her music tenure quite a brief one but in this short time span her music releases thrived on great songwriting coupled with her incredibly pure voice which I'd love for you to hear some of! She has acted in a few dramas since and is now primarily involved in anime as a voice actress which is where I'd like to begin as the very first song that I heard by her is from an older anime which is based on the manga of Takahashi Rumiko titled "Mermaid's Scar" and a following movie "Mermaid Forest."
The animation is of an older style but the storytelling is well paced, heartfelt...a bit wonderfully creepy, and will hold the viewer's interest and these two features have quite a short running time of just under an hour each. The ending theme song "Beads of Tears" is sung by Mochida Maki and I'll never forget the day that my friend was playing it at a record store and I ran up quickly to find out what album was playing as I knew the song from the anime "Mermaid's Scar"! Then came my pleading for it as I wasn't the only one interested in her album but luckily she gave it to me! ^-^ I've uploaded a few of her songs here directly to VOX to listen to and since my browser keeps freezing after each upload and I need to restart each time (much like it does with photos which is why I'm currently using Photobucket instead) (update: more mp3 tracks added and uploading issues are gone! =) ) I stopped afterSadly just about every Mochida Maki release from this time period is out of print so here's the mp3 if you'd like it. :) And here's the translation of "Beads of Tears" from the anime:
"Beads of Tears"
Like a meteor
Like the fate it seals
My soul burns across the sky close upon its heels
As you once told me there's a land of dreams
where your life is never done...it goes on and on
Tell me that you'll never leave me, tell me without words
Am I alone or am I not?
On that day you held me in your arms but was it confusion? Was it an answer?
Beads of tears
Your voice is calling to me why can't I hear you?
Why aren't you near me?
Beads of tears
The rosary of all our fears
The prayers of our eternal years all disappear
Promise me we'll meet again someday if not within this life then in the next life
Beads of tears
I can't go on without you
Tears of confusion...can't find a reason
Even now I try to make the slightest sound
Your name's another thing that's gone with beads of tears
In this life we'll never love again but I'll keep you with me
Treasure your memory
Beads of tears
However will I get through until the next time until the next life
Beads of tears
The rosary of all our fears
The prayers of our eternal years all disappear.
I've been trying to pick out a few of my favorite songs and it's been really quite difficult as I love so many of them by her but I've managed to narrow it down to 12 (now updated to 15 favorite♥ songs).
"Hohoemi dakeja mienai" is Mochida Maki's 3rd single which was released on July 21st, 1993 and this single was bit difficult to find as it was the furthest back that I could backtrack in my efforts to acquire her catalog of releases....it's always really a feat that one faces when you suddenly find an artist/group that you really begin to love only to find out that they're older releases are no longer available through retailers so of course the best places to search are Yahoo! Japan Auctions, eBay, or used online record stores such as Otokichi Premium. I'd categorize this song as a *lively* folk/rock song~♥.
And here's the link if you'd like the mp3 for "Hohoemi dakeja mienai."
Mochida Maki's 5th single "Anata no yuuki ni naritai" was used as a theme song for the '95 World Judo Championships and appropriately this track is filled with inspirational lyrics as well as a very energetic musical arrangement. This song also appears on her second album "Ashita no iro" ("Tomorrow's color"). This is one my most favorite songs by her and I really love the guitar riffs!
"Itsudatte itsudatte" is Mochida Maki's 4th single and it's a really really sweet ballad and you can really appreciate the gentle nuances of her vocals here. This song also appears on "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu."
Here's the link for the mp3 of "Sono mamade ii wa."
Okay these next three songs are #1, #2, and #3 on my list of Mochida Maki favorites♥ and the only problem is that I don't know which order to put them in! :P First is "Suna ni kieteku natsu" which has a nostalgic musical arrangement which is also flavored nicely with the distinctly wonderful sound of a sitar....simply a most infectious melody♪♪~!
Here's the link for "Suna ni kieteku natsu"'s mp3.
"Afternoon Tea" has a wonderful ambiance about it that always puts me in a happy mood! It has such a wonderfully soothing melody as is perfect for any time of the day!...not just tea time! ^-^
Here's the mp3 for "Afternoon Tea."
"Kisetsu no closet" is the second to the last track on Mochida Maki's second album "Ashita no iro" and in some ways I've always imagined it as a much more suitable closing track for the album and while I'm not sure if you'll understand what I mean by this I'm sure you'll find it to be a very heartfelt♥ song!! Hmmm...I think I tend to play this song more than any other song of hers as it's just such a well written beautiful composition. ^-^
And here's the link for "Kisetsu no closet"'s mp3.
"Popular no ki no shita de" ("Under the popular tree") is from "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu" and has sort of a larger than life guitar orchestrated aura to it, and when coupled with Maki's of so gentle vocals the contrast creates a very *moving* dynamic~.
"Watashirashiku" closes out Mochida Maki's second album and if you love the sound♪♪~ of the 60's you're sure to love "Watashirashiku".....think The Beatles♥~. (*´∀`*)
"Shiroi hane" ("White Wing(s)") was the very first song that I heard by Mochida Maki as it leads off her debut album...and let's just say that it was love at first listen~. From the very beginning her vocals have such a unique sweet sound to them and I know I've been stressing this point so much here but I've just never come across another artist from japan with a voice so *pure.* ^ ^
I think I've obsessed enough ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。!!.....so I'll leave you with just a few more songs♪♪~ free of my babbling. ( ̄▽ ̄)
Again...as just about everything released by Mochida Maki is no longer available and long out of print....here are a few additional music links below courtesy of someone very *special*~.
"Shiroi hane" (from "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu.")
"Popular no ki no shita de" (from "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu.")
"Kanashimi nante" (from "Ashita no iro.")
"Birthday" from (from "Haru Natsu Aki Fuyu.")
I wanted to add a few more photos here as Mochida Maki also appeared on the cover of UTB in one of the very early issues that I collected when I first began collecting idol magazines but amusingly this is the second time this is happening as Photbucket is currently (edit: was at the time I originally posted these) undergoing system maintenance....so I'll try adding them tomorrow (edit: 'tomorrow' as in months and months ago...lol it gets sort of wacky when moving a post to a latter date XD). ^-^ I hope you enjoy her songs and if you have any thoughts on any of them please please do share♥ your thoughts~. o(*´∀`)o゛
Many months ago Anise & Cloves here on VOX suggested that I check out Hirano Aya as the subject of "anime" type voices came up. For me till now my most beloved "anime" voices have come from Sakurai Tomo and Miura Rieko....but now this love has been taken up to a whole new level!
Hirano Aya releases can be purchased here at Cdjapan.
Hirano Aya releases can be purchased here at YesAsia.
Hirano Aya releases can be purchased here at HMV Japan.
I've spent the past few days preparing for this.....now where to begin..............oh yes! of course!.......
I first heard Hirano Aya's singing voice as I hastily opened up her singles and album immediately on arrival.....and it wasn't until I placed her live DVD into the player that I first heard her speaking voice, so enchanted with life and such highs and pitches that it was all a bit surreal as my jaw dropped to the floor! :o Here's a little MC clip which is her first for this concert after the first two song performances to just give you a little peek and idea of this most enchanting *voice* that I speak of which makes me feel this way..ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。!!and can she sing? You Bet!!!:
Okay and now for a vote............
"The singles"
I've been listening to her songs almost exclusively for the past week+ and there's such great compositions that are full of energy and infectious hooks which Ayachan's vocals command so effortlessly throughout. Early favorites♥ so far are..."MonStAR", "Breakthrough", "HERO", "Bouken desho desho?", "Aimai scream", "Yorokobi no uta", "Ashita no prism", "For you" and her most most beautifully sung ballad "Hoshi no kakera"!!!! ………(゜∀゜)………♥♥♥
Ayachan's officially my favorite♥ female artist right now! \(^o^)/☆
"Breakthrough" is the opening theme song for the PS2 game "Finalist." "Ichibanboshi" is the ending theme song for "Finalist." Such an amazing debut and a super cute song! The chorus has sort of a 50's feel to it with the backup vocal arrangement and Ayachan looks so much younger here.....her looks really changed in just three years since this release and is most notable when her single "LOVE GUN" was released~.
"Bouken desho desho?" was the opening theme song for "The Melancoly of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Kazeyomi Ribbon" served as the SOS Brigade radio opening theme for the same series. The title track is pure ♥.
This single's really more like a double a-side!! Both such catchy songs♪♪~.
"LOVE GUN" marks the appearance of Ayachan's first writing credit as she penned the lyrics for the title track and it was also the start of a 3 single blitz campaign where she released three singles all in a 3 month period! These 3 singles also were released with included DVDs which include each title track's pv~. =) "LOVE GUN" absolutely rocks!! Especially live in concert!!
And be on the lookout for the *fish* out of water rescue! XD
Ayachan co-wrote the lyrics for "Neophilia" and composed them in entirety for the coupling with track "forget me nots..." The second of her 3 single blitz campaing, this release also includes a DVD containing the title tracks pv. =)
A much darker song for Ayachan and the pv is pretty magnificent with it's creepy good images as well! XD
Lyrics for "Love Song" composed by Ayachan~. The third of Aya's 3 single blitz campaign also includes a DVD containing the title track's pv. =)
"Unnamed world is the ending theme song for the t.v. anime "Nijumenso no musume" and all lyrics for the coupling with song "Maybe I can't good-bye" were composed by Ayachan~. And its' also very notable that Ayachan's lyrics are completely written in English! =)
And here we have a most wonderful Tsunku connection!!..as he penned both lyrics & music for both tracks on this single release~. The title track "Namida NAMIDA namida" also served as the ending theme for the t.v. anime "Hyakko."
Both track's lyrics written by Ayachan! =) And Yes~! this single also includes a DVD with the pv for the title track and it's a such a *cute* one!! Ayachan's rockin' sound and image are solidly established by her body of works and with her most recent single here, she pushes the *adorable* button into overdrive! Σ( ̄◇ ̄*)!!!
So your'e in line....minding your own business and waiting....um *excitedly*...seemingly *orgasmic* a bit for your sweets♥............ .................................until....... ..your'e most rudely shoved out of the way!!!! (;´□`)
But of course you know in those famous words of one Bug Bunny,.....this means war! XD
"The debut album"
"Shashinshuu"
Adorable!! Adorable!! Adorable!!...Ayachan's sooooooo *cute*! need I say more?....I don't think so. ^ ^ Love these photos? Stay tuned to win your very own new copy~. =) I've scanned 47 *adorable* pages which follow.....
"I love you hero"
.....because performances like these demand their own chapter~.
(Video clip edited.....to see more please support Hirano Aya and purchase her live DVD) =)
"The 1st live"
Hirano Aya's first recorded live was recorded at Yokohama Blitz and with a running time of 131 minutes you'll be treated to multiple concert footage angles which you control during select performances throughout the concert and in addition there's an extensive "Riot Tour" behind the scenes coverage as well as more surprises~!
Sweet♥ moments are also abound throughout the concert in MCs where Ayachan can't seem to grasp her level of popularity!! (*´∀`*) So sweeeeet!! And this being her first concert tour Ayachan breaks down with *emotion* after her final message to her fans which goes into her performance of "Yorokobi no uta".....such a heart♥felt moment. o(*´∀`)o゛ ♥ Please enjoy! Some clips have been a bit edited to keep a bit of intrigue....so hopefully you'll purchase her concert DVD! Onegai~! =)
The *energy* in this concert is just phenomenal!!! Okay I'll shut up!! XD
And her performance of "Hoshi no kakera" just melts my heart.......................such a beautiful song..beautiful vocals....gomen ne~ this clip is a bit shortened but to hear the rest please support Hirano Aya and purchase here live DVD~! ^ ^ One of my most favorites♥ by Ayachan.
"Aya in Guam"
Just a cute little*hint* here from Ayachan's "Love Story" DVD.....her in her chapter titled "Pool."
And then as this is a Japanese idol DVD...there is the occurence of the Batsu Game. :O
XD
Ahhh she didn't do so well! :P
"The giveaway"
Just in case you've become as *enchanted* with Hirano Aya as I have or perhaps are a longtime fan here's a chance to win a newly sealed (not the one I just hurt over the scanner in the "Day 5" scans) :P copy of her shashinshuu "Girlfriend" which is Cho-kawaii!! o(*´∀`)o゛♥

And while music may have not have turned out to be her niche, Hara Fumina did release two singles and a pv collection during that span of time.
Hara Fumina releases can be found here at Cdjapan, YesAsia, Amazon Japan and HMV Japan.
The featured cover girl for each issue is featured extensively through photography, works, interviews as well as other special features including.....
.........your favorite♥ idol's room invasion!! Σ( ̄◇ ̄*)!!...no I mean room check!…(^q^) It's really a long running cute feature for their cover girls and it's really great to see how your favorite idols live and yes~! organize their rooms! Really intimate for sure. ^ ^
Then there's the "Growing Up Story" feature which also covers each issue's featured cover girl!.........
...........and last but certainly not least is the famous...
......."Body Check" feature! Of course only the slightly older idols get these and I'm thinking you can imagine why! (。ーωー。)
And here's just a little sampling of what you can expect from the pages of Bomb magazine......here of course is Hara Fumina's feature from their February 2002 issue........
And just a little peek inside her shashinshuu "Days" as I scanned a few favorite♥ pages...
It's been awhile since I last posted about a gravure idol here...tonight's visual focus will be Fukudome Yuko and part of the real irony here is that while some of the photography presented in her debut shashinshuu are rather on the mature side she herself was 17 at the time of this release..(sensual photography not nudity of course!) Japan's idol culture has long been one of contradiction in that while laws prohibit the youth under a set age not to appear on live broadcasts after a set time of the early evening (seemingly to protect) there really doesn't seem to be any barriers holding back the very essence in which idols may be presented in official publications.
The very existence of the acronym "U" ("Under") which precedes various ages of idols to categorize them into age says a lot in this regard and while cinema continues to feel a form of "censorship" which is all but non existent in other countries, it has lended itself to be leaked into other avenues of artistic expression...most notably the anime market where the extreme is often pushed to "adult" standards. Whether or not this is really a form of suppression on their society can be left up to debate but whilst this contradiction remains, what continues to be true is the unbarred presentation and expression of idols in Japan.
Fukudome Yuko's shashinshuu "Prime" can be ordered here at Amazon Japan.
Fukudome Yuko's "Ka.bu.ri.tsu.ki" DVD can be ordered here through sellers associated with Amazon Japan. (note: DVD is out of print).
UTB has gradually grown into somewhat of a more mature publication over the years but it remains to keep a younger audience as well as many of its idols and content are catering towards its youthful audience. In recent issues a distinct change towards an older audience is clearly visible in their inclusion of much more mature pictorial as well as older idols making regular appearances....many in much more "spicier" photo shoots.
Fukudome Yuko appeared in Young Jump as well as UTB issues just a few years ago and going from a simple pictorial to her debut pb what I found surprising at first glance at its arrival is the cover which you see to the right. It really wasn't what I was expecting and while here in the U.S. an idol of Yuko's age being presented in such a sexy way would be unheard of.......(although we do have those youth beauty pageants) in Japan it's clearly the norm as it's notably a thriving market in their society from past to the present.
A very nice surprise was seeing that Yukochan signed her entire set of first pressings of her debut pb.....(photo: above;top left)..as it adds a most personalized touch to those not fortunate enough to attend a premier book signing in person in Japan. =)
Yukochan's most striking feature has to be her *smile*~ ( ̄▽ ̄).......free of apprehension or pretense she has one of the most beautifully natural *smiles* ever I think!..........matched but perhaps not exceeded! =) She's really really *pretty* and on her DVD her fun personality really comes out as well~! I was thinking that she's a bit thin but I won't be one to judge as I could probably use a few more pounds, or at least I've been told (._.;)! It's grown into sort of a running joke aimed at me by co-workers....."you really should eat something!" :o
Again, some of the scans below from her debut pb "Prime" are quite on the "spicy" side.........you've been warned! XD Scroll down at your own risk! :P But many are on the ultra *adorable* cute side to counter.....so there's an alluring blend of sweet & sexy throughout her release making it quite a visual stunner to put it mildly! :o
The following scans are from her debut shashinshuu "Prime"...
............now here's where it gets interesting~.....um as all girls truly dream of heading down to the park...partially undressing and then swinging from a tree!! Wheeeee!!!! Okay, kidding!! I've never dreamt of doing such a thing ever!…(^q^).....(*sigh*) the life of a gravure idol. ^ ^
Sometimes in music♪♪ the very best kept "secrets" are right under our noses or in my case high above eyesight if they happen to be on a top shelf in your local shop!…(^q^). But in any case searching through second hand shops for musical treasures can be most rewarding at times and a lot more frequently than you might think~!
Now at 15 albums my Tanimura Yumi collection began with humble beginnings with the album cover scan you see to the left.......very nostalgic! My very first Tanimura Yumi purchase! =) First impressions here paid off for me the listener as "Ai wa genki desu" turned out to be an amazing album and while it's much more indicative of her earlier works which were much more "idol" like perhaps..or cutesy like at times......Yumichan by even this early stage of her career was already penning both lyrics and music for numerous compositions on her own albums. ^ ^
Fast forward just a few years and Tanimura Yumi was already composing all of her music & lyrics as well as had developed as a premier pianist who can truly hold her own in a virtuoso crowd~!
However please don't take my word for it~ and witness just how far an idol can develop in the music world if only inspiration were so great amongst ours today. The first clip below is from Yumichan's '97-'97 "Feel Mie" concert tour and while Yumichan's instrumental works only appear sporatically throughout her career this one really displays a breathtaking virtuoso♪♪ at work~!
This untitled work of live improvisation is of the contemporary jazz genre and throughout this seven minute and 8 second performance you'll experience several movements of sorts which are often associated with classical music although this is *pure* jazz heaven on stage~! Tanoshimi kudasai~.
.....it sort of has a "Snoopy" feel to it's main reoccuring melody........think of the classic "Linus and Lucy."
"HALF MOON" is truly one of Yumichan's most beloved compositions and below she gives a most heartfelt performance~. The vocal improvisational break after the middle bridge is really sweet as it leads up to the song's final perfect vocal note held here beautifully by Yumichan.........lyrics..beautiful and moving........melody..most memorable.........vocals..immaculate~.
~In movies and t.v. dramas a few personal favorites include: "Shimotsuma Monogatari", "Otoosan", "Fighting Girl", "To Heart~koishite shinitai~", "Friends" and "Strawberry on the Shortcake."~
In music♪♪, albeit brief I was able to collect her complete discography over a short span where she explored her musical side. Fukakyon also notably is an impressive pianist and perhaps one day she'll find her way back to a music career where this talent of hers will be further explored...I sure do hope~.

Well Arashi's Shokun shouldn't be the only one to have a bit of fun with their very own shashinshuu dedicated to the visuals of Yatterman.......so here's just a taste of what you can expect from Fukakyon's tribute of sorts to Yatterman and then beyond...
A portion of the shashinshuu is strictly dedicated to her character "Doronjo" where Fukakyon's wardrobe is as wickedly delicious as they come!...including a central gatefold four page fold-out.
However much of the fun, creativity and beauty of "Kyoko Tokyo Pin-Up Girl" lies in the expansion upon character idealisms where seemingly everyday scenery is found playfully blurring the lines of reality in bits with Fukakyon's self expression taking on a stream of dreamlike roles. For the most part though I stuck with scanning the cute photography shamelessly here…(^q^), and therefore I've left most of the surreal photography for you yet to explore if perhaps you purchase her shashinshuu.....
Fukada Kyoko's "Kyoko Tokyo Pin-Up Girl" can be ordered here at Amazon Japan.
Fukada Kyoko's "Kyoko Tokyo Pin-Up Girl" can be ordered here at YesAsia.
For anyone who's familiar with Fukakyon's history as an idol's life transitioned into stardom the following sentiment may likely be shared: As an "it girl" for a generation, Fukakyon's very being...in personal character, emotions, poise and physical beauty is one of Japan's most to be embraced by this generation and beyond. ………(゜∀゜)………。
The noted costumes & outfits wardrobe reads impressively as well: FRABOIS, Topshop, agnis b., JEANNE VALET, TAGO, ALCATROCK, DRESSCAMP,EMPORIO ARMANI, DelilaH, DONNA KARAN NEW YORK, DANNO, Sergio Rossi, Christofle, Vivienne Westwood Accesories, Reem, le coq sportif, NIKE, FRANQUEENSENSE, LUNETTES DU JURA petit, Corrida corset, RONALD PINEAU and the list goes on...~
Please enjoy the scans~!...she's just so perfectly beautiful! ^ ^ (watch for the photos in which shadow manipulation is wonderfully at work here!)
...and some of these photos are extremely *sexy* which really caught me by surpise in the sense that even in her younger "idol" days Fukakyon never really took to the whole bikini idol genre, appearing sparingly this way for someone of her stature even back then. And once her career really took off which didn't take very long~!.....Fukakyon much like her fellow idol/actress Yada Akiko appeared in magazine layouts more along the lines of a stylish fashion model in terms of wardrobe choices ^ ^...........
For anyone possibly interested in subscribing to B.L.T. the magazine is very similar to UTB's current format in both size which measures an impressive 11 3/4" X 8 1/4" and its flat spine glossy design which gives magazines a bit of a more sophisticated appearance. This issue in particular contains 96 pages of full color features covering numerous up and coming idols and also included 5 randomly inserted trading cards out of a variety of 18 possibilities. ^ ^
Luckily one of the random trading cards turned out to be one of Manoeri's which makes this issue even a bit sweeter♪♪. And for any H!P fans out there volume 9 not only features a radiant Manoeri on its cover but in addition you'll find full extended pictorial features on both Cu-te's Nakajima Saki and Berryz Koubou's ever adorable Sugaya Risako! ^ ^
I apologize for not being able to include all of the two page gatefold style photos in the following scans as I'd never be able to connect them together seamlessly..(>_<), but I included the rest of the H!P girl's features which follow. B.L.T. is quite an impressive publication which would suit any idol fan I imagine and I also would like to stress in addition to wonderful photography througout, B.L.T.'s pictorials are also quite extensive in nature with many of their featured idols having pictorials of up to 12 pages each!! And B.L.T. is definitey a visual publication as it doesn't feature many articles outside of the pictorials themselves....so if you love cute pictures and are looking for a magazine which solely focuses on idol photography, then this is definitely a magazine worth looking into.
Some of the absolutely most adorable Riichan photos that I've seen yet!! ( ̄▽ ̄) She has one of the most wonderful smiles~!
Riichan's heart pendant is somewhat reminiscent of her ♥ T-shirt design.....could it be an official UFA collectible?
