I was really happy (pun maybe intended (*´艸`)!) with so many of the happy/*Smile* T-shirt designs~ from the latest H!P concert tours~!! (*´∀`*)。。。。。so the real dilemma came from which ones to choose??? (・c_・;)?Colors are important so that was one consideration but more importantly which members to choose as I was only allowing myself two member shirts from these releases~ (人∀`*)。
I really wanted two group shirts for sure...those being Momusu's and C-ute's and I really really so *adore* those happy face icons for each member on Momusu's...so so cute too!! as you first guess which belongs to each member from the front and then on the back of Momusu's shirt are the complete list of member's names next to their happy (^o^)'s~! Sort of like answers???.....maybe my imagination is much too strange~…(^q^)!
I ended up choosing Koha♥chan's solo T-shirt set and it really became an easy decision as this is perhaps her very last T-shirt set as a member of H!P...(;´□`)!!!This most likely will never be worn as it's rather like a last collector's item from one of Momusu's most *adorable* members~ and definitely their most energetic!!! っo(*´∀`)o! Momusu's included a nine photo set while Koha♥chan's came with a two photo set (always ♥ the fighting pose~!!!) as well as a cute wristband which also bears her happy face icon~♥ ^ ^。
C-ute's latest concert T-shirt set includes six member photos and their "Cutie Jump" tour logo~ all in a sort of army green?....and I'm just happy to have one last Ume photo from her final tour with C-ute..I can't believe she's graduated already (;´□`)。。。while Manoeri's was so much a must have as not only do I love red but it's also her debut solo concert T-shirt set~ o(*´∀`)o゛♥!Manoeri's also includes two photos as well as a name wristband~. The piano silhouette jumped at me from when I very first saw Manoeri's design and it's so so so so so so perfect!!! Her girl next door idol image + piano♥ = pure ~♥~! o(*´∀`)o゛。
Here are the accompanying member photos...once again in order♥:
In replacing 2009's calendars at the end of the year I'm still finding that I have 4 areas available to display these full sized wall calendars......so it encouraged me to once again not hold back in getting each of H!P's 3 main group's calendars for 2010 (*´∀`*)!I was also most tempted to purchase Manoeri's but in the end I decided on getting Hirano♥Aya's instead~^ ^。Most of this years calendars range in price from 2200 yen ~ 2500 yen.
2010 Japanese calendars can be ordered here at Cdjapan.
Please return to the top to vote for your favorite design for 2010~.....
Berryz Koubou's theme for 2010 is shigoto....or careers I should say?...work~. =) From a moving company, fast food, flower shop, beauty & salon, record shop♥ to bakery~ the members are grouped into pairings of two or three per calendar page but what I always seem to find to be the best shots are the ones which include the entire group together and besides this year's cover, the final extra page which isn't marked by a month is once again the prettiest I think to display~ o(*´∀`)o゛!It's quite a change from last years too in that 2010 for BK really has gone cartoonish in a way rather than showing them in the ambiance of the outdoors~.
Please also vote for your favorite♥ H!P 2010 calendar...yoroshiku onegaishimasu~! ^ ^
There's no doubt!...Ume's last single with C-ute/H!P is such an awesome production from its writing♪♪~ to all of the extra effort put into the accompanying visuals making this such a *dream* single!! The title says it all too~..with "zekkou" meaning: splendid; first rate; and perfect! while "chou" has a meaning of: tune; tone; or pitch~. And "EVERYDAY Zekkouchou!" is every single bit the very definition of just that!
C-ute releases including "EVERYDAY Zekkouchou!" can be ordered here at Cdjapan.
C-ute releases can be ordered here at YesAsia.
The aesthetic slickness of the single's cover artwork inside and out go far beyond those photo shoots~ as UFI really seems to have put in an extra effort in creating an almost JE♥ like smooth production creating really what I think is one of C-ute's most visually stunning and impressive music videos♥ to date! And yay! \(^o^)/☆ for sizeable budgets as their rooftop scenes complete with platform are somewhat reminiscent of Arashi's pv for "PIKA☆☆NCHI DOUBLE" and C-ute's dance choreography~ is really top notch here as well! Each and every member is just so *amazing* in their own right as C-ute has grown both musically as well as within their members themselves maturing...and now I just find that C-ute is by far the most dynamic* and well balanced group in H!P at this moment I think~. ^ ^
"EVERYDAY Zekkouchou!" still is definitely the cooler side of the pillow here by far as Tsunku has once again penned a future classic~...this composition being his vision of pure contemporary pop♪♪~ heaven~ ………(゜∀゜)………!And while Maimichan and Airiin continue to be the group's main vocalists, I feel so much more unity in the vocal arrangement giving this song a much more group like effort~. Just thinking now that I'm yet to even watch the original and other alternate pv versions that their pv DVD single will provide when it arrives in about a week from now....fills me with so much anticipation as already this alternate "Zekkouchou" version has me so moved and completely blown away! C-ute is really showing just how capable they are of blurring the lines between cute "idol" group and mainstream pop dynasty~ and this single is such an impressive step towards the latter I think~. ^ ^
( ̄▽ ̄)!
Now all three main groups have been to the islands in official events and I just learned albeit a bit too late from my brother who received an e-mail from a friend saying that their temp store would once again be made open to the public but it was for today only....those hours being between 11am~3pm.....
きゃぁーっっっ(/∇\*)!which sadly means that I've now totally missed the chance to shop for C-ute/H!P goods!!! Now being just after 3 pm..... :/
The temp store's location has also been moved to the DFS building instead of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza where it's usually held at.
C-ute will be performing a concert today at 4pm, just a short while from now and whereas Momusu usually tends to perform at the Waikiki Shell...C-ute will be performing at Andrews Amphitheater~.
Someone also posted up the location where C-ute had a volleyball match with the teams being Maimi, Saki & Chisa vs. Ume, Airiin & Maichan~......and surely this'll be on their upcoming "Alo-Hello!" releases! ^ ^
I found myself searching through H!P binders looking for what is my very first C-ute photo set which I acquired sadly after Megumi had already left....although I know that I do have a Megumichan photo so perhaps this isn't my very first C-ute set after all? (・c_・;)?
And just seeing how far C-ute has come and so quickly seems to reflect in gazing at these photos now....wow they were so little ne~! ^ ^
Only just a few weeks ago Kannachan suddenly announced her leaving Hello! Project and this is still I imagine quite a fresh wound for other fans as well.
So much is different here though as nothing being said officially has any undertones of shadyness or that more is going on than is being stated. Really nothing negative to reel from as unlike with so many other members' departures from H!P, Ume's is much like Fukuda Asuka and Konkon's where outside ambitions♥ have struck a chord with her and while leaving this idol world there is so much more in plans and in her ~heart~ to experience and explore~. And rather than having UFI decide when it's time to leave this is purely on Ume's own terms and of her own choice. =)
Ume's ambition of becoming a fashion model only seems most fitting too....her beauty...her height....and her maturity all factor in perfectly with this wonderful career choice and this is being done so right as the early announcement will allow fans to celebrate Ume during C-ute's Japan concert tour which leads directly up to her graduation date on October 25th...the final stop on their current concert tour~. Just as Nacchi saw a sea of white greet her with fans showing their support and love during her final concerts with Momusu....the very same adoration will without doubt be rained upon Ume on this tour~.
It's sad whenever any member leaves a group...for the members...for the fans and with this C-ute's group dynamic will once again change going from what was once 8 - to - 7 - to - 6 and now - to - a lineup of just 5~. It's much too early perhaps to speculate but it'll be interesting to see if Tsunku makes a move regarding the addition of a new member(s). But unlike Momusu who's very identity has completely changed over the years in gradual but inevitable increments, both Berryz Koubou and C-ute have been the "stable" groups in terms of permanent members with no revolving door to see them off with new members being let in through auditions or appointment. But with their number at 5 now it is conceivable that Tsunku may make a planned move to add a new member or members to C-ute.....and as Momusu began with 5 members it didn't take long at all for him to recreate and expand their image and numbers.
And while C-ute is clearly set upon Maimichan & Airiin being in the spotlight, still the dynamic of 5 members could quickly change all of this or perhaps change nothing at all. For much of their single releases in particular C-ute has been comprised of two lead vocalists coupled with 6 - 5 - and - 4 - backup vocalists/dancers through their decline in member numbers but the number 5 clearly gives UFI producers and Tsunku a means to break the trend if they so see fit to do so which would ultimately entail more equality within the group diminishing the aura of backup vocalists which they now bear so clearly~. Unlike the past much of girl groups in Japan today have gone with more is beneficial in group member numbers but when you see/hear earlier female idol groups like CoCo and Ribbon.....all members were such equals and in this sense more likely to translate into fan equality as well amongst them. Surely there'll always be fan favorites in any group dynamic but with more equality beginning with the group members themselves (with vocal lines and choreography for example)......this really lends itself naturally to a much more balanced fanbase in terms of individual members as each will be as visible as the her next fellow member which can be a much more healthy environment emotionally for the girls I think~. ^ ^
Let's celebrate Ume in C-ute, and maybe just maybe we'll hear a coupling with song written just for her graduation on an upcoming single release~. And to Ume, I *wish* for all your dreams and endeavors to meet with wonderful success. And although seemingly unrelated all of those vocal, dance and acting lessons that went along with idol grooming have surely helped prepare you for this next endeavor in life along with the learned professionalism which surely accompanies any successful career lived in the spotlight much like your career in fashion modeling that you've chosen. I will miss you so much in H!P & C-ute but I'll *smile* always just knowing that you're happily pursuing your dreams~. ♥
But C-ute's latest single was just released on July 1st!!..and this release puts me into a much better mood despite having a runny nose, sore throat, headache, slight fever and a seemingly never ending need to cough! (*´艸`)!
The music coming from H!P has just been awesome and especially recently with so so catchy songs like "Rival", "Hajimete no keiken", Shouganai yumeoibito", "aMa no jaku", "Summer has come!" and it goes on and on ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪~! Both LE and RE covers have a warm and classic stylish look to them but I'm really happy that a uniform look was chosen for the dance shot pv...hmm I'm yet to see the other versions as this is the version they chose to include with the LE CD release and thankfully so as their accompanying pv DVD single isn't released until July 8th~. The RE didn't include anything extra other than their event application card (only valid in Japan though) but the cover is still gorgeous and provides a close up versus the full profile appearance of the LE.
All 3 discs too are decorated too with some really adorable art!!...and I'm thinking that the members themselves designed these as the inner back cover shows a peek into their artistic notes which are also featured on both covers~.
C-ute's "Shochuu omimai moushiagemasu" RE can be ordered here at Cdjapan. (note: the LE is out of print)
C-ute's "Shochuu omimai moushiagemasu" LE is still available at YesAsia!
...and to say that this is quite possibly the *cutest* song by C-ute yet I don't think is a stretch ヽ(。´▽`。)ノ。。!!
Despite it's very very similar title, the coupling with track "Zansho omimai moushiagemasu" is a much darker, moodier and emotionally charged composition.....that being said though, the title track "Shochuu omimai moushiagemasu" wins for sure with its overwhelming power of *sweet*-*adorable*-&-*catchiness*!
The DVD has a running time of approximately 77 minutes and in addition to the original versions for all of their major label release singles from "Sakura chirari" to "Bye Bye Bye!" you'll also find dance shot versions for all 8 singles and for songs like "Sakura chirari" which didn't see a dance shot version the first time around on either their CD or pv DVD single releases this little bit makes it a worthwhile addition in addition of course to the convenience and prettyness of having them all together~. Also included are separate TV-spots in both 15 and 30 second versions for all eight singles and TV-spots for their album releases "2 mini~生きるというか~", "3rd~LOVE エスカレーション!~" and "憧れMY STAR." I love when these are voiced by the members themselves which makes for cute ads~!
C-ute's "Music V Tokushuu 2 Cutie Visual" DVD can be ordered here at Cdjapan.
C-ute's "Music V Tokushuu 2 Cutie Visual" DVD can be ordered here at YesAsia.
The nicest treat though was finding an all "C-ute Version" music video of their special release single "Koero! Rakuten Eagles" on this DVD! The Pucchi Best 9 DVD previously included the original version of this pv, however.....

Please pick your three drivers for the next race at Dover International Speedway.....
Before qualifying (before May 29th) at Dover International Speedway choose 3 Cup series drivers for the "Dover 400" whom you think will have the best finishes in the race. Important: post only two of your driver's names in this post and send your third driver's name as a PM (private message) to me through this VOX blog.
Dover's relatively short straightaways and the high speeds the track allows for with its 24 degrees of banking often lead to large wrecks of the chain reaction variety...and often times drivers can get caught up in wrecks not of their own making...thus choosing drivers to perform..or rather survive the treacherous 1 mile track can be quite a tricky affair with perhaps much left to luck~.
Dover is also home to one of the most unique trophies in all of motor sports and to the left there's the monstrous prize presented to the race winner after arriving in victory lane leading the final lap of the set distance of 400 miles (400 laps).
Last May Kyle Busch took the checkered flag and celebrated in victory lane but just to show the incredible uncertainty of this track......just a few months later in September Kyle Busch would finish in the very last position of 43rd so when it comes to favorites there's definitely no guarantees when it comes to the monster mile~.
For further reference here are the updated driver points standing after the race at Lowe's Motor Speedway:
Happy choosing! =)

While random drawings can be fun I think that utilizing the race format in which I previously used for the Daytona 500 here earlier this year for a BK single giveaway, adds a bit more intrigue and hopefully excitement too in that each entry is fully in control of their own destiny in that you get to pick your own drivers and that the results are purely based upon those choices and their subsequent results~. ^ ^
If you'd like to win either of these *cute* items (I'll also cover all shipping charges =) ) then all you need to do is pick three drivers (one driver's name sent in confidence to me in a separate PM....explained in better detail at the bottom of this post =) ) in which you think/hope will have the best results in the next 3 upcoming NASCAR Sprint Cup points events before qualifying (you'll get to pick any three drivers of your choice for each of the three race events separately and they not need be the same for each race giving you flexibility for each different race track.)
A cumulitive average will be tallied from each entries' three chosen drivers from race to race beginning with the "Coca Cola 600" (May 24th) at Lowe's Motor Speedway and the standings will be posted after each race event in the same fashion as was done here earlier this year only then it was just two drivers being chosen by each entry.
Entrants will then do the same with the following race events at Dover International Speedway (May 31st) and Pocono Raceway (June 7th) which will follow the next two Sundays.
After each of these three race events...your chosen driver's finishing spots will then be combined together to determine an overall average finishing number for each entry...........and the winner with the best (lowest) overall average finish after the three races as Lowe's Motor Speeday, Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway will win Junjun's cap~! =) All other entries who participated in each of the three race events will then be given a chance to win C-ute's "Bye Bye Bye!" pv DVD single regardless of their final finishing spots through a random drawing~.
1) Before qualifying (before May 22nd) at Lowe's Motor Speedway choose 3 Sprint Cup series drivers for the "Coca Cola 600" whom you think will have the best finishes in the race. Important: post only two of your driver's names here in this post and send your third driver's name as a PM (private message) to me through this VOX blog. This third "hidden" choice I think will add a bit more intrigue to each week's results~. =)
2) Results will then be posted after the Coca Cola 600 race in a latter post showing where everyone has placed so far.
3) Before qualifying (before May 29th) at Dover International Speedway choose 3 Cup series drivers for the "Dover 400" whom you think will have the best finishes in the race.
