So many wild things occurred this past Sunday including an on track altercation (ノロ≦。)!between one fiery Juan Pablo Montoya and one fiery but much more relaxed now Tony Stewart~! Let's just say that I just don't think that they'll be having Thanksgiving dinner together this year~ (・o・)。。。
Some really interesting results for some drivers at Homestead made way for some unexpected finishes~ as well as some expected finishes as well~...so without further delay here's the finishing order for each of your *fantasy* teams~!
4th place- Anise & Cloves- Drivers: Scott Speed, Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, Carl Edwards, Juan Pablo Montoya & Kyle Busch finished 27th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 38th & 8th respectfully for a combined average finish of 15.16.
3rd place- Hello!Jessie- Drivers: Kurt Busch, Greg Biffle, Kyle Busch, Clint Bowyer, Denny Hamlin & Tony Stewart finished 4th, 14th, 8th, 11th, 1st & 22nd for a combined average finish of 10.

So~ I'm thinking that you may like your *chances* as with four eligible entries for Aichan's shashinshuu giveaway with the deadline now passed last night...you each will have a 25% chance of winning~ \(^o^)/☆ albeit the variables and unpredictable nature of yes~! racing♥! o(*´∀`)o゛
Just to see once again what's at stake here....
For more of "Watashi" koko ni click~! ^ ^
Okay~ for Anise & Cloves, Ada xD, maiZe & Hello!Jessie~ it's time to start your engines!! or rather thinking caps~(^-^*)!
Please select your one race♥ fantasy team by choosing 6 drivers whom you think will have the best combined average finish at the final race for the Cup Series at Homestead Miami Speedway~ to be held on Sunday November 22nd~! Post only one of your driver choices here (important: one of your driver choices must be outside of the top 12 in points which is listed below) and PM to me your other five choices~ keeping them a *secret* until race♥day...(I'll post all four complete fantasy teams prior to next Sunday's race event at Homestead Miami Speedway so you may follow along live if you're curious for the results ^ ^。). Only the top 35 drivers (in points) are eligible for choices as shown below~.
The top two finishing teams~ will then face off in a one time final drawing....may be odd to only have two names "mixed" up in a hat…(^q^)! but I'm hoping that CK♥ can once again maybe help me with this...so bad of me I haven't even asked him yet (*´艸`)!
Each entry must be posted here by Thursday November 19th...midnight (Hawaii time).
*Good~luck* and happy racing♥!! \(^o^)/☆

These volumes were much anticipated!! You'll notice their originality as the digital photobook releases have consistently been offshots from previously released shashinshuu by solo members~.
A~h! I'm a bit preoccupied at the moment as I'm also watching a recording I made earlier this morning of the Sprint Cup Series at Pocono Raceway which was delayed due to severe rain conditions yesterday~...sorry for the brief dialog here as I usually cannot shut up ever! (*´艸`) *Wonderful* photos...pretty..cute..kawaii!...lol I need a thesaurus don't I? :P
Aichan♥ with Gen.6♥.............Kamei♥ Sayu♥ Tanakachi♥ ^ ^
^ ^
Hmm...who am I kidding....lol I can't shut up! XD
Not even Rikachan could hold back the H!P shashinshuu *princess* as Aichan released her 10th~! solo photo book on May 25th surpassing even Rikachan's current total. And without doubt they are the two most celebrated H!P idols when it comes to visual releases as they've long dominated this front of idol fanfare~.
I personally couldn't think of anyone more deserving either.....(although Kamei does creep into mind rather loudly though! ( ̄▽ ̄)!) Still Aichan is the constant upholder of professionalism in H!P making her along with perhaps Yukosan the two best leaders that Momusu has enjoyed over their long tenure. Other thoughts that instantaneously come to mind when I think of Aichan and all that she's represented and meant to Momusu/H!P as a whole are: role model...exquisite dancer..mentor..vocalist..artist..leader..performer..actress..♥quirky♥........and one need only view Momusu's stage musical "Ribbon no kishi" to bear witness to her full arsenal of talent on display~. =)
And of course, perfect beauty! (*´∀`*)
I think I've spoken too much for a "silent" post...(。ーωー。) ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪ ♪♪~..........

Takahashi Ai's "Watashi" pb can be ordered here at Amazon Japan.
I've chosen 35 of my favorite images from Aichan's "Watashi" shashinshuu to scan below......my scanner is now exhausted lol! :P
oh and just in case you'd be interested in owning this *beautiful* shashinshuu be on the lookout for an upcoming Aichan shashinshuu giveaway where I'll award someone a new sealed copy of Aichan's "Watashi" pb as my mini NASCAR fantasy league of sorts rolls on some time after the current JunJun/C-ute pv DVD single giveway finishes this weekend at Pocono Raceway~. Someone's going to win...it may as well be you ne~. ^ ^Also a special limited idol/voice actress alarm clock as well as another *cute* shashinshuu will follow in future giveaways~....tanoshimi kudasai. =)
A~h I almost forgot to mention..Aichan's in Hawaii and here on the island of Oahu. It's always fun to recognize familiar sights whenever a H!P member visits here~. I still need to go *hug* that sign post which Kamei was leaning on~. XD
Although I needn't mention, "Watashi" is one of the most *pretty* idol releases yet!! And so much of Aichan's personality comes through in these photos..I'm in a state of adore-overload! o(*´∀`)o゛♥
Seeing this DVD just makes me think oh why couldn't I have been at that park or in that supermarket or at that beach or near that fire hydrant or in China Town when Aichan was there...(;´□`)......(*sigh*) if only I could be that lucky! ^ ^
*Cereal* officially has a best friend once again. o(*´∀`)o゛♥..........
...and why does the line you choose to stand in at the supermarket always inevitably seem to take the longest? (price check? (・_・) )...what exactly is a "body pillow" supposed to be for?…(^q^).....was I hooked on dial up for much too long? :P.......could I really ever be happy enough to appear in one of those "Windows Mojave" video clips?......why does *popcorn* always taste better w/ friends & a movie?........how old is Keith Richards really??? (・c_・;)?.....and will he actually outlive everyone including the cockroaches...eww!!.....and what is "phenylketonurics?" which is said to contain "Phenylalanine"..maybe I should call 1-800 WRIGLEY to find out. (Gillette should contact him asap~!).......why isn't H!P/Momusu available on blu-ray?......why can't Big Papi hit the ball anymore?.........and if salmon isn't actually salmon colored before we color it to make it pretty, why is it called salmon?.....when will the $ stop sinking?!! (;´□`).....and would a guy really trade his girlfriend for a couple of BK Star Trek glasses? ・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。...surely this cannot be...ne~.
Oh and before I forget here are scans of Aichan & Gakisan's UFI photos which came with the Platinum 9 T-shirt sets.....I wonder if I could send Roger Federer one of these cute wristbands to wish him *luck* at Roland Garros? =).......................something tells me that I maybe should watch more Arashi concerts more often. :P
Both Aichan & Gakisan are soooooo *adorable* in these photos! ("fight!! photos always get to me! ♥~)...and photo sets which accompany merchandise which the members are either wearing or holding in them seems to make them a bit more warm and *fuzzy* it seems~. XD
The current extra being the inclusion and return of the photo trading cards~! UTB & Bomb! magazine really revolutionized the idol trading card/ magazine relationship back in the mid to late nineties and along the way UTB through it's numerous restructurings has offered extras such as clear files, posters and one of their most ingenious to date still remains their special DVDs which really brought to *life* each issue through "up♥dates", gravure photo shoots, idol games, etc...which featured the idols included in each issue~. Also notable are how extended each of the main photo features have become as they're now 8-10 pages in length!
And for any AKB48 fans...they've now appeared regularly for the past few issues....and in this issue alone AKB48 have five features including four of them being solo~. ^ ^
Subscriptions to UTB which is published bi-monthly can be purchased here at Cdjapan.
UTB's trading cards are randomly included between 3 possible sets of five cards per issue.......one great thing for all H!P fans is that the trend so far has been separating H!P member cards between the three sets....so matter which set your issue includes you can rest assured to receive at least one of them! =) My issue included "set C" or the "Airiin" set~.
Manoeri, Airiin and Maimichan are featured in photo shoots for this issue....here are the scans...
Manoeri continues to be an UTB favorite~♥....her photogenic personality and natural *adorableness* surely great reasons!
Manoeri's debut shashinshuu & major label music release is also covered...what's so awesome about these events is not only how close up fans get to their favorite idols but there are also usually signing opportunities as well~.
Berryz Koubou's Riichan shares a timeline from her birth up to her recent 15th birthday and it's cutely presented in a board game like format~. =)
Momo (@ Momo's H!P Blog) sent me a recent article from Japan Times which I found to be an interesting read and look into the current state of Momusu, their attempted venture into the Chinese market, as well as some cute little tidbits on a few fellow members where the descriptions...'messy' and 'funniest' are matched to particular members.....lol I'm guessing most can figure out whom 'messy' is referring to before laying eyes on the article.
Aichan, Gakisan, and Linlin provide a short candid interview (translated here) and along with the inclusion of a brief history of the group and its incarnations a few other fascinating topics are touched upon. And with a managerial voice present for the conversation it adds a bit of extra insight into the goings on and direction in which the group has taken in recent times. Most notable for me was the talk about Momusu's push into China in their attempt to grow their fan base and possibly rejuvinate sales as of late where it is noted how 'pirating' has really hurt their profitability there and while this is something that one may have guessed as the outcome, it's just really disheartening to hear confirmation of this. And in a time when UFA/H!P is making a strong push into the Western markets and beyond with Momusu's set appearance at the Anime Expo in L.A. ( a most presigious event which will without doubt add to the group's visibility outside of Japan...although I think most know of their existence already in the states!! =) ), Buono!'s appearance in Stockholm!, and I'd gleefully add Berryz Koubou in Hawaii (..although this is an event exclusive to FC members so this one's not really included..(;´□`)! ).....it's a really important time period for everyone in the states to hopefully show their support and I'm more alluding to sales in particular which has been the noted previous 'failure' in China just recently as noted by management in the above linked interview piece.
And while pirating isn't exclusive to any one region by any stretches of the imagination, I just really hope that the U.S. and in light of UFA's obvious realization that 'we're out here too as fans!' does well to show their support so as not to discourage further growth of UFA/H!P outside of Japan as they push for a move westward into our music markets...something that I'm guessing most of us have dreamed of numerous times since becoming devoted fans. Potential improved sales will not only show UFA/H!P that we are indeed 'out here too!' but it'll also in the process give them good reason and potential to further explore the possibilities of engaging us as true fans........think IFC (International Fan Club! ………(゜∀゜)………。). And it's important to consider that Up Front Agency/International is like any other business, dependent on support as in sales, and in order to ensure that they'll be around further for fans to enjoy it's this type of support that will benefit both our favorite idols and ourselves the fans......hopefully lending itself to continuing the process of bringing them a bit closer to a neighborhood near you~. ^ ^
After this impressive streak though came a long drought in which H!P while still appearing prominently in UTB (as Wani Books is the parent publisher of most H!P shashinshuu releases) didn't appear on another single cover dating back to the December 2006 issue which featured Aichan as their cover girl......in hindsight I imagine that no regular subscriber could have imagined that that particular issue would be H!P's last cover appearance for more than two years.
The April 2009 issue features one of the most beautiful H!P/UTB covers over their long history as Manoeri ends the over two year drought in dazzling fashion~! And while UTB seemingly continues their current restructuring of their presentation which has seen more facelifts than Joan Rivers (Gomen! XD) this issue in particular is showing definite signs of looking more like UTB's past in general as much of the format is quite reminiscent here. ^ ^
Manoeri doesn't only grace the front cover as she also is given back cover honors, here promoting her upcoming major debut release single.....shashinshuu scans can be found here.......and release information here.
UTB also returns to including trading cards with their issues with the first three sets of five being randomly included.....my issue included set 3 including Maimichan's debut trading card in UTB. As the trading cards are once again being numbered I imagine that this sequential offering will continue in the next issues to come which is a nice return to the extras which UTB was so popular for offering in the past. =)
The trading cards had quite a run as they numbered enough to fill nearly an entire binder on their own! Bomb! magazine would also follow suit shortly after UTB debuted their trading cards as theirs offered randomly inserted cards which like UTB were two sided with photos but also included occasional card sets which would be smaller pieces to a larger picture when all cards were layed side by side in order on their reverse side. UTB Vol. 190 includes an impressive amount of H!P coverage and the gravure idol pictorials have also increased in page count which is also representative of their past...all of which gives this issue a retro feeling and quite a welcome one at that! Now if only we can get that DVD magazine back! ^ ^
The following pictorials that I've scanned include: Manoeri supporting her debut shashinshuu & major music release debut with off shots from her pb as well as an event memorial shot, Suzuki Airi pictorial, Manoeri major debut special which includes a "growing up" documentary & an "A to Z" personal look at all which is manoeri......watch for her so so so adorable baby pictures too!!! ^o^, a flower dance (Hula) lesson with Tokunaga Chinami where hula's beautiful language is revealed with specific dance points which translate into this dance form's unique way of expression, Hagiwara Mai & Okai Chisato show their photography skills where only two will be named "best shot!", Takahashi Ai's pictorial poses the question of whether her image here can pass her as being 17 years old?...as she portrays her character in ther drama "Q.E.D." (currently watching! ^ ^ ), and lastly Yajima Maimi returns with her third installment of picturesque beauty! She is so beautiful!! ^ ^
But first, Mr.Children's song "Kurumi" has had me wondering for years now if perhaps a girl could be named "Kurumi" somewhere in Japan as Sakurai is addressing a woman named Kurumi in the song's lyrics.......alas Shimizu Kurumi ends all questions! "くるみ" means "walnut"....so I've just always wondered.........I think it's a cute name~!
Below is the mp3 for "Kurumi".....please enjoy listening along with the scans. ^ ^
Well with the economy being so bad everywhere and Christmas not quite seeming like Christmas just yet I hope these photos at least add a little nostalgic cheer!.....just reminds me so much of how when Rikachan first arrived how she really was H!P's it cute girl!...and Gakisan's um handlebar hairstyle.......some things will never be forgotten. ^ ^
