When J-Pop collections attack...the sad story of what used to be a bedroom.....

I've been meaning to create this reference post for awhile however I'm only now finally getting around to typing this out....the original idea was to have a single post which would list all artists/groups which have been covered in some way here over the past 2 years but it sort of grew into a...."what's on the shelf sort of thingy."

In some ways though this may actually be a....."don't let this happen to you" post as below you can see that what once used to resemble a bedroom has now become a storage room as a bed no longer fits in there due to the.....um ever growing amount of stuff in there...it's really not a pretty sight! :/

The following listing covers just about everything on my CD shelves (DVDs must be saved for another day) including albums and singles (original releases only as I don't download any music). Some artists/groups in the listing are attributed to only a single or a few releases while others pertain to entire discographies, those being my most favorite artists as some have literally taken years to complete as tracking down older releases can be quite a challenge and some of this searching was done before the internet really became a source for out of print releases in the form of second hand CD shops, etc. Quite a few of these releases were acquired as promo CDs/singles too.......as surely I would never have been able to afford all of these on my own and a lot of them are older releases which I acquired through friends. =) Work for me began in my mid teens so the collection really began quite early and it sort of just grew over the years. ^ ^

While surely the goal here would be to cover many of the artists, so far only a few have been posted here so what I've done is linked those artists directly and in the cases where a "main" post is available on a particular artist I've linked those posts directly from that artists/group's name while all posts including "secondary" or related posts appear afterwards as a "(1)." For some artists such as Angela Aki, I've yet to do an actual proper posting about her so in this case only a "(1)" link is included. Please bear with me as I'm utilizing tags to link these so in many cases the "secondary" listings may be a bit diluted as to the actual content for that particular group or artist as some may only have small references to them and also include non music posts as well.  

When it comes to Momusu and anyone H!P related at first I wasn't going to list them at all as the tagged posts may get out of hand in some instances as many of these posts are somewhat intertwined with one another when it comes to relativity......and also they're all listed under "M" as when my Momusu collection first began there was only Momusu to collect and as UFA and Tsunku kept on adding on more and more artists/units/groups over the years I just kept adding them to the shelf after Momusu so alphabetically it's quite comical to say the least! :P Who could've known at that time in '98 that Momusu would eventually spawn off an entire family of soloist and groups!....it's been a bit wild living through Tsunku's creations in real time over the past 10+ years. :o

As more artists/groups are covered here in posts I'll continue to add links directly to this post in the future so after this post falls out of the main first page here on VOX, I'll add a little post link (taking you back to this post) at the very top of the first page and date it into the future so that it remains there, hopefully making artists/groups covered here a bit easier to find. ^ ^ And again, not all artists/groups listed here pertain to large collections as some are only referencing a few releases and in many cases only a single release. All links are only referring to music related ones (with the main but not exclusive exception being a lot of the H!P related posts due to tags overlapping genres....sorry I wasn't able to separate the music posts from everything else so the H!P links are really redundant at time depending on the member/group being linked >_< )...for example while there are Hirosue Ryoko posts here I didn't link them as they're related to her acting and not her music.

There are a few thousand music albums & singles on these shelves so I apologize for this list getting a bit out of hand.....no keyboards were harmed in the typing of this list. :P Also I apologize for the primitive nature of earlier (before new laptop posts) posts as I wasn't able to upload audio or video back then with my really really slow pc nor was I able to create proper screencaps then......(sigh....I ♥'d "Dino" though)... :P

One final note is that I didn't include a listing for label compilations, soundtracks, and other various artist collections as they would have been too difficult to categorize...with the exception of the Final Fantasy series which has already been posted.
