I'm not sure who created these but I just thought that they were so funny!! My father always makes me laugh with his e-mails! ^o^ Here's an excerpt:

We all know those cute little computer symbols called 'emoticons' where:

:) means a smile and



:( is a frown.



Well, how about some 'ASSICONS?'

I'm not quite sure what that actually means...

There were actually a few more but some were a bit.....um racy so I just stuck with these.
I wonder if assicons will catch on and then we'll start to see them everywhere.
Hmmm...probably not but these were so funny anyway! :P

Wow you're really far ahead of us in our time zones!!! Right now it's early afternoon here but I started at 2 am so I'm finished with work already. Love the weekends although this one will be a bit short due to an extra work shift. >_< When I saw these I thought they were so funny so I had to share them! ^o^ I'm happy that they made you smile too~! =)

I'm wondering if any of these will actually show up in messages online....lol they may a bit too crude though but lol they crack me up! ^o^ It proves just how creative you can be with keyboard symbols. =)

Now that's something new and funny after a long time not checking here. I think i go to the Dumb Ass section as i confuse a lot and Swishy Ass is what ass looks like when you got really old, at least that's what i have in mind after seeing the {} symbol ^^

By the way, all my Satoko Ishimine CDs came in, including the illusive CD & DVD Best! :) Hana is one of my all time favorites and I love the song about Okinawa a lot too! :)

It's the perfect choice and a really well known song as well to share with someone for the first time. ^ ^ So much strength and emotion in her vocals too~!....I do wish that I had more of her releases but so much of it is out of print. Thank you for the YouTube clips! ♪♪♪♪♪♪♪♪... I'm not sure as I haven't seen a new release by her in some time now but as far as performing I wonder....?

I'm still really trying to learn more of them as there are still lots that I don't understand the meaning of.... but these were really funny I thought! Someone out there is really really creative! I wonder who first started using symbols on a keyboard to reflect human emotions??? I think there could be an entire book of them by now! ^ ^

Ah, back in the olden days, people would get misinterpreted, because when you talk to a person live you give off non-verbal clues as you conversate... emails had none of that, so...

Hai you are right! ^ ^ I think her most recent new release came out back in 2003 as only a few compilations have been released since. Still she has such a large catalog but finding it is the difficult part. :/

Ah you're so amazing!!!....there is a place where emoticons are kept track of! I imagine though that it's so difficult to keep up with as seemingly new emoticons pop up each day as people get more creative and expressive always~! Ah...<3 = ♥ ^ ^

Maybe she's ready for a comeback? :) Too bad they don't have the equivalent of Indian Casinos like here in the States. Just about anyone who ever had a hit can make a living touring them these days... I'll put up her songs for you and let you know soon!

They problem is that there are so many emoticons! Even if you know what they mean, will the other person? Maybe someone will come out with an addon for Firefox that allows you to mouse over one and it pops up it's meaning?? ^^ Plus, some people make up their own, like <3> (wink)

I however really feel uncomfortable dowloading any music files as I so much prefer to purchase them so that the artist receives the benefit....I know in this day and age I'm really silly and odd to feel this way but I just can't get myself to download music for free. LOL don't slap me for that! (;_;)

That's so true and I didn't consider how things began with e-mails and the need to clarify emotions so that misunderstanding don't occur that could have been avoided. ^ ^ I would so love if they did that! For clueless people like me it'll be the best help with emoticons ever! I was wondering what that was and meant.....lol I won't tell you what I thought it looked like at first as it was really not a good thought! >_< Okay wink is much much better! ^ ^
