Ice Creamusume debut album set for a January 16th release date.

HP's overseas venture is set to arrive on shelves on January 16th however Japan will be getting its own release near the end of the month so that has me wondering if there will be an identical track listing or perhaps will these two versions differ from one another? I just noticed that YesAsia is already taking pre-orders for the Taiwanese release and for only $13.99 it also includes a DVD which is exciting news! Interestingly their DVD is coded as an all region disc however the contents of the DVD aren't listed on their site so I'm guessing maybe....pvs?.....or a special live performance(s)? In any case $13.99 is an amazingly low price even for a mini album so I'm just debating as to whether I should pre-order the Taiwan version or perhaps wait for the Japanese version. But if they're identical releases then surely you can't beat the $13.99 price! ^ ^

I've already downloaded it. Definatly worth buying, unfortunatly all my money is going towards the Elder Club Graduation DVD.

Just so you know, you will ONLY be able to get the Taiwan version because the Japanese version is being sold EXCLUSIVELY at the Winter 2009 Haro Pro Awards concert.

So preorder before they're sold out!

I preordered it at YesAsia, as it is the only site that currently has it. I'm sure Ohta would have no trouble getting a hold of the Japan version...but I don't believe the tracklisting will be any different. I can't wait! Lightbulb!!!!!!!

Thank you for setting my mind straight! ^ ^ (...goes to pre-order) Interesting that they're not making it a commercial release in Japan although I guess it's being more catered to their audience overseas. I'm imagining that the Elder's Club graduation concert DVD will be a massive set or at least I hope so as there's so many members to pay tribute to and hopefully it's all done in a warm as well as grand fashion! (*´∀｀*)

Okay that definitely settles it!! Same track listing but most likely the Japanese version will be much much more expensive I imagine. Awww Lightbulb!....I'm still trying to remember each of their names! :P

I went for the Taiwanese version as well, I've always bought the Japanese releases because they're the 'proper' releases over versions released in other countries, but with this release I guess the 'proper' version is the Taiwanese release?...Does that make sense?

Can't wait to have a listen to it.

I decided to preorder it aswell a couple of weeks ago and it's already been sent out according to YesAsia! I don't think I'm going to bother trying to get the Japanese version, especially considering it'll probably just be a more expensive version with the exact same things on it.

I think you're right! The very origins of the group do make the Taiwanese release the proper release and it's quite wacky that I didn't think of it that way before. :P I enjoyed the pv that they posted even if it was a really simple production....lol but they should have had a background of some sort maybe........maybe they could have had an all ice cream background? ^o^ Just a few more days until it arrives I think...I ordered quite late! ^ ^

Ah so lucky! ^o^ The release date is confusing me! :P Their site says it's the 16th but this really can't be true can it? LOL I don't think they're sending my copy out until the 20th as I ordered very very late. ^ ^ That sounds to be the case as it'll probably be an identical track listing but with a substantially higher price tag on it. I'm still surprised that their debut Japanese version will not be a commercially available release but...hmmm that approach worked wonders for C-ute so I probably shouldn't be too shocked. ^ ^ I love how their voices sound together and I think the audition winners are perfect for UFA's overseas venture. =)

I ordered mine on the 9th, and at this point the YesAsia status is "searching for suppliers...Oh no!!! I hope they don't stiff me!

(´⌒｀。) Hmmm....in trying to find the silver lining here it's awesome that Ice Creamusume is selling so well as this indicates! ＼(^o^)／☆ I hope they send your copy soon so that I may have some hope too~! ^ ^

Ah they found me a copy and I just received their confirmation today which means that yours should be in a courier's hands on its way to you now. ^ ^ The last time I ordered from YesAsia it was for Arashi's single "Happiness" as the first pressing was sold out everywhere else and I remember it taking quite a long time to arrive....and I don't think I chose free shipping either which made it a bit strange but they packed it so nicely so it arrived in perfect condition. ^o^ I'm so curious about the contents of the DVD!

Yay!! I just got home and I got my email too!!! That, plus I got confirmation that HMV sent me my two new Idoling!!! CD's and Breakerz' Xmas single, which I stupidly didn't buy when I was in Japan (they were promoting it when I bought Madayade on my last day there) Now if only HMV would send me my AKB48 and Ohori Megumi PB's, which have been on backorder for almost a month!!! :(

Has Idoling!!! teamed up with AKB48 with a release yet as I'm wondering if these are those single releases that I read about in your write up. It's awesome that two of your loves have joined together and I hope they produce something that's worthy of being the best of both worlds. ^o^ Kyaaaa~! I was so worried after reading your message as I ordered mine so late and if Ice Creamusume went out of print then I'd have to hunt their release down in auctions which can get a bit pricey at times....especially when demand is high! >_< I'm so happy that they allocated two copies for each of us....lol I'm making it sound like it was a personal favor from YesAsia. :P

Ah that's so long. Those pbs must be very popular though judging by their backorder time!! ^ ^ I'm wondering what Ice Creamusume's initial sales will look like as I hope their really really high! ＼(^o^)／☆ I hope your pbs arrive soon!
