Fujimoto Miki's "Okitegami" features a reuniting of Enka and Hello! Project.

I prefer Horiuchi's PV but Mikittys song...and in all honesty, Okitegami is a nice song, but its just not me. The Christmas Song you shared was very fun though...for some reason I liked it a lot more than Okitegami...I feel bad for not liking Okitegami too >_<. Perhaps over time I will like it more.
I can totally understand as enka is sort of an acquired taste and I myself took many years to start to love the sound of it and truly enjoy its style whole heartedly. ^-^ Horiuchi's pv is more dramatic in effect and perhaps that's part of the reason for you favoring it more? Or his vocals? He does sing very well! Ah "Ai no merry christmas" is such a wonderfully written song! The H!P chorus adds such a pretty effect and both Itsuki Hiroshi and Horiuchi Takao blend in wonderfully with the girls as this composition is somewhere between pop and enka making for a catchy mix! Hmmm...the Kouhaku played the major role in getting me to love enka and perhaps it could do the same for you in time. :)
