モーニング娘。"sweet morning box 2002"/ 嵐 "Arashi Around Asia in Dome" Giveaway.

With Christmas fast approaching I thought that I'd like to spread some holiday cheer and with the reality that my room isn't getting any bigger but rather more crowded as J-Pop releases continue to flow freely I think it's time to give 1 of these items a new loving home. For Momusu fans there's their "sweet morning box" release from 2002 and for Arashi fans the regular edition of their latest concert DVD release "Arashi Around Asia + in Dome." Both items are brand new and remain unopened although as you can see the Momusu box set's 5 year old tape has failed miserably and needed to be re-taped as it appears that the Christmas stocking wants out! The stocking on the right is my copy which I still have the box for it somewhere in the closet. Both items are valued at 5000 yen although the Momusu box set may be out of print by now making it a rare collectible. Some may recognize the Momusu Christmas stocking from "My Hello! Project Collection 全部"  post although this post is a bit outdated now.

The Arashi concert DVD is a 2 disc set with a total running time of 140 minutes shot in beautiful widescreen. The reason why I have 2 copies of this concert is that I was a bit overanxious when I pre-ordered it thinking that the limited edition and the regular edition may have different cover artwork. And how wrong I was about that. :P So while I'm keeping the limited edition, I'd like to have the regular edition be part of this giveaway so that a fellow Arashi fan may enjoy it. :)
 
So what exactly is in a Morning Musume Christmas stocking you may ask... ...well for starters this great looking stocking with Momusu logo engraved cover contains an illuminating Momusu Christmas tree which is powered by a watch size battery. A button on the back of its base allows you to choose between either a blinking light or steady illumination. Next there's a cut out sleigh with all 12 (current at the time) members which you assemble. Some may have noticed this sleigh in various photos from the past as it's displayed near my mini home stereo system next to Dale Earnhardt's statue & diecast car. My assembled one is sitting on top of the stocking in the photo above. It's quite a cute little piece as everyone's dressed in Santa gear! Then there's a Momusu mirror which is more decorative as their picture seems to have covered up most of the mirror's surface. :O A VHS (ah 2002 and VHS was still the standard in J-Pop releases) Christmas program featuring member comments and Christmas fun. Momusu memo booklet with vinyl logo engraved outer jacket. Also in this booklet are 2 sheets of Momusu Christmas stickers! A 2 sided trading card featuring all members in Christmas attire. And lastly a Momusu Christmas card game where the cards really resemble gift tags. And it all comes housed in a very sturdy Christmas stocking! The 12 members featured in this 2002 box set are Kaorin, Kei, Aibon, Nono, Makochan, Yossi, Gakisan, Rikachan, Nacchi, Aichan, Marippe, and Konkon. What an incredible group lineup it was back then!!
